Lin North is an N gauge layout built by our member Martin.
Martin began building this layout when he retired and before commencing construction he set out a the following criteria for the layout:
- Must fit in the dining room
- Era : 5 (as this was the era during my spotting period)
- Must be DCC
Martin runs a mix of Steam and Diesel motive power, roughly 80% of them featured on the layout depicting locos Martin has seen in the real world.
You may notice a number of the corners on the layout have been removed, this is to fulfil the criteria of fitting within the dining room.
The Layout uses the NCE pro cab for DCC control and an Ipad or Phone for driving.
